Help. Short answers to common snags.

Capture a page

Click the SnapFull icon in the toolbar and choose Capture full page, or press ⌥ ⇧ S (Alt+Shift+S on Windows and Linux). Keep the tab open until it finishes. The capture then opens in a new tab, ready to edit or export.

To change the shortcut, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

“Capture didn’t finish” on some pages

Chrome doesn’t let extensions capture its own pages, such as chrome://, edge:// and about: pages, or the Chrome Web Store. Open a regular website and try again.

Only part of the page was captured

  • Some pages scroll inside their own panel. In settings, set Scroll method to Custom scroll areas.
  • For feeds that load more as you scroll, turn on Follow infinite scroll.

Headers repeat or images are missing

  • Turn on Hide fixed elements to remove sticky headers and chat widgets while capturing.
  • If images appear blank, raise Wait before capturing or set Capture step to Half screen.
  • For moving content, turn on Pause page animations.

Where files go

Exports are saved to your Downloads folder. Turn on Ask where to save each file to choose a location every time. Settings also let you set the folder and file name.

PDF paper sizes

Full image keeps the screenshot at its exact size. Page-Height Fit makes one page as wide as your paper and as tall as the capture. A4, US Letter and US Legal split the capture across pages, in portrait or landscape.

SnapFull Pro

Choose Upgrade in SnapFull’s settings and complete checkout. Your licence key arrives by email. Paste it into settings to unlock group capture, merged PDFs, smart page splitting and saving edits.
